Ankai, specialist in electric buses

Anhui Ankai Automobile Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Co., Ltd., is a listed company specializing in the production of light, medium, and large buses as well as high-end automotive parts. With over 3,000 employees, it produces approximately 15,000 buses annually and has an annual capacity of 3,000 engines for energy buses. Founded in 1966, Ankai has been listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange since July 1997.

The company has two bus production sites and one unit for automotive parts. Recognized as a national high-tech company and an innovative pilot enterprise, it has a technology center, a research center for electric bus system integration, and a postdoctoral research station.

Ankai relies on a strategy of autonomous development combining introduction, absorption, and technological reinvention. Its complete range covers passenger, urban, new energy, and school buses, with two main chassis technologies: monocoque and semi-monocoque. Monocoque technology, used for large buses and new energy buses, offers a robust and lightweight structure, while semi-monocoque equips medium and light buses, ensuring economy and comfort.

Thanks to its collaboration with renowned universities and suppliers, Ankai develops electric, hybrid, and alternative fuel buses, integrating advanced electrical systems such as motors, electronic controls, and hub drive axles, with independent intellectual property rights.

Today, Ankai offers the most complete range of new energy buses in the industry, with a presence in over 80 countries.

Tekauto, expertise in the service of electric mobility

Tekauto, expertise in the service of electric mobility

Tekauto was born from the vision of Sergio Habib, former president of PSA in Brazil, who was behind the introduction of JAC Motors into the Brazilian market. Thanks to his initiative, the Chinese brand established itself there with reliable, accessible, and technologically advanced electric vehicles, particularly in the 100% electric truck sector, with over 1,600 units delivered.

Building on this success, Sergio Habib launched Tekauto in Europe, in close partnership with JAC Motors. After Spain and Portugal, France became a strategic market, supported by a solid network of partners and an offer adapted to the new mobility challenges.

In France, Tekauto distributes JAC Motors electric trucks and is now developing a new activity in the field of decarbonized collective transport with the URBANEO brand, in collaboration with Ankai, a recognized player in electric buses worldwide.

Global support:

  • JAC & Ankai vehicle distribution
  • Turnkey solutions: infrastructure, chargers, financing, full maintenance
  • Connected services: telemetry, fleet management
  • Local after-sales service via selected partners

With a clear vision and an integrated approach, Tekauto is establishing itself as a key player in accelerating the energy transition of professional fleets and public transport.
