FAQ

Here you will find the first answers to your many questions about our Urbaneo City 6 electric bus and its technology.

The Urbaneo City 6 has a range of 320 km (SORT2 cycle).

The actual range will depend on the use of thermal comfort auxiliaries, driving style, and the speed profile of the route on which the vehicle is operated.

As part of the rollout of electric trucks, Tekauto works with dedicated partners across the country. The aftersales partners are trained by Tekauto’s team of electromechanics, who are themselves trained by ANKAI, as well as the battery supplier, CATL.

Regarding spare parts, a large inventory is already available at our central site in Chalifert – Marne-La-Vallée near Paris (bodywork, batteries, etc.).

The electric Urbaneo City 6 can receive up to 120 kW of power (DC only) and 11 kW of power (AC)
To charge from 20% to 100% (the batteries have a capacity of 127 kWh, so 80% equals 101.6 kWh), the charging time is:
• Around 9h15 with a station/charger delivering 11 kW (AC).
• Around 5h with a station/charger delivering 20 kW (DC).
• Around 1h with a station/charger delivering 100 kW (DC).

The delivery time for the Urbaneo City 6 is 4 to 6 months in Europe from the validation of the customer’s order, depending on the volume ordered and the level of customization required (onboard equipment, chargers, European supplies, etc.).
